The system will access the table 001 then 002 and upto 506. If the GL account is found first table condition 001 Cust. Grp/MaterialGrp/Acct key, that GL code will be used for revenue postings. Like wise if does not find then it goes to the next table.

You decide as which level you want to maintain the GL code. We will cover GL code maintained at the lowest level i.e. 005 Acct Key.
